Minister of Health Mikheil Sarjveladze visited the Kharagauli Regional Health Center, where he inspected the clinic’s infrastructure and reviewed the services provided to patients, the Ministry of Health reports.
During a meeting with the staff, the minister emphasised the importance of high-quality services and geographical accessibility. He noted that support for the infrastructural and human resource development of primary health care institutions will continue.
Sarjveladze highlighted that primary health care is a key link in the healthcare system, as timely and preventive services help avoid complications and maintain public health.
According to the ministry, several important projects are being implemented for this purpose, including the primary health care pilot program, launched in six clinics, among them the Kharagauli Regional Health Center.
The reform provides not only increased funding but also a wider range of free examinations for citizens. This will enhance early diagnosis, improve treatment planning, and ensure effective patient management.
