Head of Election Headquarters of European Georgia – Accusation as if oppositional parties are plotting a revolutionary plan is absurd

Sergi Kapanadze, Head of the Election Headquarters of European Georgia said that the accusation as if the oppositional parties are plotting a revolutionary plan is absurd and delusion.

According to Kapanadze, the goal of European Georgia is to defeat the ruling Georgian Dream through elections.

“Georgian Dream is trying to assure people that disorder and destabilization is being prepared. In fact from November 2, the government plans full lockdown of the country on the pretext of healthcare concerns. But actually, it needs to keep the country closed before the second round of elections to have benefits with respect to election campaigning,” Kapanadze claimed.

Head of the Election Headquarters of European Georgia also commented about allegedly discovered fake facebook accounts associated with the opposition and claimed that it was a lie and merely the narrative and propaganda of the ruling team.
