The head of the French company Lactalis does not exclude that the products produced from 2005 to 2017 could have been contaminated with salmonella.

“We cannot exclude this fact,” – Lactalis Chief Executive Emmanuel Besnier told French business paper Les Echos.

Lactalis, one of the largest dairy producers in the world, was forced to recall 12m tins of baby milk from its home market of France and abroad after the salmonella bacteria was discovered in some baby milk in December from its factory in Craon, north-western France.
