HCoJ selects Shota Kadagidze as independent inspector 

The High Council of Justice of Georgia (HCoJ) has chosen Shota Kadagidze an independent inspector with 11 votes.

Shota Kadagidze served as a non-judge member of the HCoJ from 2017-2021.

The the job fell vacant following Zurab Aznaurashvili’s resignation in June.

For a five-year term, HCoJ appoints an independent inspector whose duties entail initiating disciplinary proceedings against a judge and conducting a preliminary examination/investigation of a disciplinary case.
