Hadron Therapy Center to be completed by 2026, set to boost Georgia’s scientific reputation, PM Announces
In his speech at the Kutaisi International University graduation ceremony, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze highlighted the significance of the Hadron Therapy Center, emphasizing its unique impact and importance. He said that the construction of this centre will be completed by 2026.
“This Hadron Therapy Center is a highly notable project that will enhance our country’s reputation upon its completion and the initiation of its research programs,” the PM stated.
Irakli Kobakhidze also expressed gratitude to Bidzina Ivanishvili [GD honorary chairman], praising the unique infrastructure and location of Kutaisi International University.
“We owe our thanks to Mr. Ivanishvili, the university’s founder, for his vision in establishing this crucial educational centre in Kutaisi. The infrastructure and location are exceptional, reflecting the highest European standards and were personally selected by Mr. Ivanishvili and his family,” he added.
