Guga Kashibadze: Injured on Amashukeli Street was lucky because such an explosion leads to much more serious injuries

According to Guga Kashibadze, the head of the Burn Center, the health condition of the man injured in the explosion on Amashukeli Street in Tbilisi is stable. As Guga Kashibadze noted, the patient has burns around his throat, as well as on all four limbs.

“We have burns on the face, around the throat, both upper limbs, both lower limbs. He was lucky because such an explosion leads to much more serious injuries. A patient is a young man, 48 years old, ”Guga Kashibadze said.

The blast took place at a gas station on Amashukeli Street. One citizen was injured. Six fire-rescue teams were working on the spot.
