The Group Phase matches of FIBA EuroBasket may be held in Georgia in 2021.

Today, at 18:30 (Tbilisi Time), four host countries for EuroBasket 2021 will be announced in Munich. Seven countries await the decision on EuroBasket 2021 hosts: Georgia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Slovenia.

National Basketball Federation of Georgia expressed willingness to host the prestigious basketball tournament a few months ago. The official statement was submitted to FIBA on March 15.

Georgian fans will be able to watch host announcement for EuroBasket 2021 on the air of Georgian First Channel live. The announcement will be also streamed on Facebook page of the Sports Department of Georgian First Channel.
