It is known to society that the financing model and rule have been modified based on the amendments made to the Law on Broadcasting. The society is also aware of the GPB’s moving to a new building at a different location that is linked to infrastructure and technological changes which increases the organization’s capital expenditures.

The current situation puts the organization face to face with the new reality. The organization is obliged, on the one hand, to retain constant broadcasting and meet the content-related commitments, and, on the other hand, to modify the planned programming.

All programs of the GPB are equally valuable, high-quality and important. Diversity – informing, cognitive, entertaining and sports, which are cornerstones of any public broadcaster, aimed to meet the taste of all types of viewers and rules out politicization of programs.

The Broadcaster has had different political, social and cultural programs for years and this attitude stays, restructurization was planned due to the current financial situation and will refer to all projects in different forms and the organization’s employees.

We believe that politicization of issues concerning any program is unacceptable because at this stage, due to changes, some viewers might lack each program, according to their tastes and preferences.
