GPB Director General to be speaker at EBU Technology and Innovation Summit
Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) Tinatin Berdzenishvili is the speaker at the Technology and Innovation Summit of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
The annual Technology & Innovation Summit and Technical Assembly offers a unique opportunity for the technology leaders of EBU Members to meet with their peers and take stock of current and future media technology trends.
This year’s summit focuses on the practical use of artificial intelligence by media organizations, the process of making strategic decisions in times of change, and plans for product distribution on various platforms.
“Innovation and change are constant companions of media and technology. Despite the challenge that the use of artificial intelligence created, today, this process is irreversible and is accelerated in time. This concerns almost all directions, data collection/procession, content, distribution on different digital platforms and foremostly, measuring the audience behaviour,” said Tinatin Berdzenishvili.
Technical Assembly reviews and approves a strategic map and work plan guided by the EBU’s member broadcasters.
