Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), Tinatin Berdzenishvili is the Speaker of the international conference Al in Public Media: Global Perspective.
The exclusive conference unites leaders and decision-makers of public broadcasters from Europe, Asia and Africa on the formation and ideas exchange in artificial intelligence and future public media.
The rapid development of artificial intelligence, including language models, fundamentally changes the landscape of the media industry, the process of product creation and audience behaviour.
The conference speakers spoke about the challenges and opportunities, which are common for public broadcasters in terms of strategic, ethical, legal and technical aspects.
“The media industry pays special attention to the implementation of artificial intelligence capabilities in practice, as far as ethical, legal issues, copyright and source identification are relevant in this direction. Public broadcasters aspire to the elaboration of joint vision with cooperation and sharing diverse experiences,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.
The conference organized by the Italian Public Broadcaster RAI and Asia-Pacific Ocean Broadcasters Union, was held in Naples, Italy.
