“Today we inspected the building we will move into soon. I think for any TV lover, and especially for the head of the European Broadcasting Union, the infrastructure we are moving to is extremely important. We noted that this is a part of the content and not just a beautiful building but the need that is foremost for the public broadcaster because in an old, though historic building labor safety norms are not protected.
We also talked about open space for news and new studios which will be unique for our country. This will be the welfare not only of the public broadcaster but will serve as a contribution to any creative industry because they will have the opportunity to visit the studios, work here, and gift our viewers wonderful Georgian content,” she said.
The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) hosts the 18th News Assembly of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) on November 22-23.
