Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), Tinatin Berdzenishvili, has been recognized as a Proud Member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) during the EBU News Assembly hosted by Georgia on November 22-23.
Berdzenishvili holds positions in various committees of the EBU, notably serving as the head of the Gender Equality Group. Under her leadership, the Gender Equality Guide was developed, involving a working group with representatives from 11 countries.
The EBU News Assembly is a significant annual event organized by the European Broadcasting Union.
The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) hosts the 18th EBU News Assembly with the participation of heads of Europe’s leading public broadcasters and the Director General of the EBU, Noel Curran.
