“With so many different disciplines to follow, Eurovision is a very complicated competition, especially the Junior Eurovision,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili, the Director General of the GPB First Channel, stated on Sunday.
“We have already had this experience once and we are absolutely sure that we will do it even better the second time,” she went on.
Berdzenishvili claims that Georgia is prepared to host the JESC.
“A specific date will be set, and after completing our assigned task—which includes completing documentation—we will begin discussing the details.
We will need a short period of time for everything to be in place. We can safely say that the country is ready to host Junior Eurovision.
I think, and we have this ambition, that we will offer an unforgettable spectacle, first of all, to Georgian children. We want to involve schools, everyone who loves Georgian songs. We will need consolidation of all of us”, Berdzenishvili noted.
Georgia has won the 2024 Junior Eurovision contest. Setting record with 239 points, Andria Putkaradze gave Georgia her fourth win in the Contest.
