GPB Dir/Gen meets representatives of OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission

The leadership of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) met representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission.

GPB Director General Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Director of News and Current Affairs Giorgi Gvimradze, Head of the Election Department Meaghan Fitzgerald, Senior Adviser on New Voting Technologies Vladimir Misev, Election Adviser Kseniya Dashutina and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Program and Administration Head Tim Knoblau attended the meeting.

The purpose of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Needs Assessment Mission to Georgia is to assess the pre-election environment in the country and the preparatory process for the October 26, 2024, parliamentary elections.

Based on the report of the OSCE/ODIHR 2021 local government elections, the GPB mainly covered the campaign neutrally and diversely.
