Director General of Georgian Public Broadcaster, Tinatin Berdzenishvili on Thursday hosted the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Georgia, Hassan bin Ahmed Al Mutawa. The 2022 Qatar World Cup was in focus during the meeting.
“The World Cup is approaching. Qatar is preparing and as the event’s official partner, we are also gearing up technically and technologically to host the great football celebration, the World Cup in the Georgian TV and radio space,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili asserted.
GPB Chief Financial And Administrative Officer Nodar Chichinadze also attended the very meeting, claiming that “the Public Broadcaster invests a lot of money and effort in making sure Georgians don’t miss any important sports event.”
From November 21 to December 18 of this year, GPB First Channel will exclusively air the 2022 World Cup.
