The Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), Tinatin Berdzenishvili, hosted a meeting with the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia, Faig Guliyev, also attended by the Head of the News and Current Affairs Department, Giorgi Gvimradze, and the Head of the Diversity Georgia Project, Ramilia Aliyeva.
Faig Guliyev learned about the Diversity Georgia Project’s workflow, which aims to engage ethnic minorities in the country, assure their participation in GPB’s everyday operations, and incorporate them into GPB-produced media projects. The Ambassador also studied the workplace of the News and Current Affairs Department.
The discussion, the GPB Director General has said, concentrated on all matters crucial to Georgia-Azerbaijan ties.
“We hosted the Azerbaijani Ambassador in our workplace. We also spoke with a group that advocates for ethnic minorities. We covered all the subjects that are important and would further enhance the relationships between the two nations. “We collaborate with Azerbaijani television companies and stay in touch with them,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.
