In order to limit social distance and mobility, the Georgian government has decided to shut down all shopping malls, except for grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, post offices and banks, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia announced.
Georgian PM noted that at this stage there is no need to declare a state of emergency.
Georgia has confirmed 40 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). 1592 remains under quarantine, while 262 under medical supervision.
