Gov't holds no authorization request from President regarding her France visit
The Georgian Government administration reports that President Salome Zourabichvili did not request the government for authorization of her visit to France.
In her speech at the Orbelian Palace, Zourabichvili said she would leave for Paris to attend the Peace Forum, slated for 10-11 November, where the Georgian Prime Minister will also participate.
According to the President, “willingly or unwittingly, we will set an example of depolarization”.
“I will continue to lobby for Georgia’s candidacy. I will depart for Paris tomorrow, where the peace forum takes place. Together with President Charles Michel, I will partake in the panel discussion on crises and conflicts,” said Zourabichvili.
