Givi Chichinadze, candidate of Georgian Dream in parliamentary by-elections, thanked voters for their support.
“I took a great responsibility and became the majoritarian MP of two municipalities – Vani and Khoni. I would like to thank my voters for support.
Elections were held in a peaceful environment and no serious excesses took place”, – “Georgian Dream” candidate said.
“Georgian Dream” candidate Givi Chichinadze leads with 57.86% (15 690 votes) and “European Georgia” candidate Gigi Ugulava has 38.38% (10 404), – Central Election Commission (CEC) published the preliminary results of Vani and Khoni MP by-elections.
