Members of the Girchi-More Freedom party staged a performance rally at the building of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG). They set up a table with an inscription of the word “revolution” and spoke about the forms of revolution via Facebook live.
The party members have chosen this form of protest to echo the SSG statement about the ongoing investigation in an alleged plotted coup.
At the end of the rally, Girchi-More Freedom members threw toilet papers in the SSG yard. The police asked them to remove the garbage and fined them GEL 80 when they refused to obey.
On October 30, the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) released a statement regarding the ongoing investigation in the alleged UNM-linked coup conspiracy. SSG explained that the obtained information prompted the probe. The interception was carried out at the permission of the court to get proof and evidence to avert crime and punish persons involved in plotting the coup.
