Giorgi Vashadze demands Int'l Election Administration conduct Georgia's elections
Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the Unity-National Movement, has demanded that the International Election Administration conduct Georgia’s parliamentary elections.
Vashadze voiced several decisions during the rally outside Parliament against the election results.
“First, both you [protesters] and we [parties] recognize these elections as illegitimate.
Second, we are not going to enter this parliament; we renounce all mandates.
Third, we are going to fight until we win.
Fourth – we have a very specific request to hold new elections, but this time by the International Election Administration,” he declared.
Vashadze underscored the opposition would not intend to enter into any negotiations and hold dialogues.
