Giorgi Tkemaladze elected as Chairman of Tbilisi Sakrebulo

Giorgi Tkemaladze has been elected as Chairman of Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Council). The 40 members voted in favor of Tkemaladze out of 45. One was against and 4 – abstained from voting.

Tkemaladze congratulated the newly elected members on success in elections and thanked the previous city council members and head for their work.

He also congratulated Kakha Kaladze on being elected as Tbilisi’s Mayor and remarked that all processes need to be conducted transparently in the city council.
