Giorgi Mikautadze scores historic first goal at European Championship, Georgia loses to Turkey

The Georgian national football team played its first match at the European Championship against Turkey, which ended in a 3:1 defeat for Georgia.

The Georgian team is placed in Group F alongside Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Portugal. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next round, with four third-placed teams from six groups also having a chance to progress to the Round of 16.

The Georgian national team will play its next match on June 22 against the Czech Republic and will face Portugal on June 26.
