Giorgi Mikoutadze wins Golden Boot at Euro 2024

Giorgi Mikoutadze has made history by becoming the co-top scorer of the 2024 European Championship and the first Georgian player to win the prestigious Golden Boot.

Mikoutadze is the first Georgian player to be named the top scorer in the history of the tournament. He scored three goals during the championship, excelling in all three group matches against Turkey, Czech Republic, and Portugal, and led the goal-scoring chart until the round of 16.

Despite competition from Harry Kane of England and Dani Olmo of Spain, who played in the final, neither managed to outscore Mikoutadze, securing his place in history.
