Giorgi Margvelashvili invited Serzh Sargsyan to the 100th anniversary of Georgia’s independence
The President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili held face-to-face meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who pays an official visit to Georgia.
President’s press service reported that during the meeting at the Presidential Palace, Georgian and Armenian presidents discussed bilateral cooperation and deepening relations issues and once again underlined the importance of the visit as confirmation of the high level of bilateral political cooperation.
“Georgia welcomes the Comprehensive Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the European Union, which Georgia views as a significant message from the European Union and new opportunities for mutual cooperation in the future,” – Margvelashvili said.
“Even though we have very good neighborly relations, we always can take a step to further deepen our relations”, – Georgia’s president said.
