Giorgi Gakharia – We will not let anybody quit, the best ones will remain on best positions

“We will not let anybody quit the job, whose qualification will allow, the best ones will remain on best positions,” Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Internal Affairs stated during the conference “Reform of Investigation System.”

Gakharia talked about attraction of new staff and their carrier growth. He said that everybody would have the opportunity to be trained and be qualified in order to build an effective system.

“Our goal is that Ministry of Internal Affairs is the body of the order, struggle against crime and is attractive for qualified youngsters,” Gakharia said.

Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) held a conference “Reform of Investigation System” with support of European Union Criminal Justice Support Project at Radisson Blue Iveria Hotel in Tbilisi. MIA changes the rules for employment of personnel.
