Giorgi Gakharia: We are not going and are not ready to impose strict economic restrictions
We are not going and are not ready to impose strict economic restrictions, – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at a briefing.
As Gakharia notes, the main thing for the government is the health of the citizen and the economy of the country.
“As we said before, unfortunately, the global pandemic will be with us for some time. We have to get used to living with these challenges in order not to damage the economy. We are not going and are not ready to impose strict economic restrictions. The achievements we have in the field of epidemiological and clinical management should be transferred to the dimension of the economy and lead to a rapid recovery of the economy. Of course, these steps will have a lot of critics and a lot of compliments as well. The main thing for us is the health of citizens and economy of the country,” -Gakharia said.
