Giorgi Gakharia: Goal of draft is to restrict access of juveniles and convicts to cold arms

The goal of the government’s initiative on tightening regulations on circulation of cold arms is to limit the juveniles and convicts to access it, – Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia made this statement after the  Government Meeting today.

According to Giorgi Gakharia, based on a new draft law, the regulations on cold arms import as well as administrative penalties related to selling become stricter.

“Our goal is mainly to restrict access of juveniles and convicts to cold arms by regulations. This draft will be sent to the Parliament and we hope that it will enter into force in the nearest future” – Minister said.
