Cooperation with international partners is of crucial importance for us, especially from the point of view of the reform process, – stated Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia at the Executive Government Meeting today.
Head of Government of Georgia thereby touched upon a Donor Coordination Forum held in Tbilisi last week and noted that cooperation with international partners is important for the Government of Georgia, especially in the implementation of reforms.
“You may well be aware that key priority of our team in the Government of Georgia is to ensure a fast pace of economic growth, job creation, education reform, as well as security and open governance, of course. All of these directions were discussed in detail at the Donor Coordination Conference and we got full support of our international partners towards reforms to be implemented in these areas” – said the Prime Minister of Georgia.
The Prime Minister focused on human rights strategies.
“This year we will start work on a new stage of a long-term Strategy on Human Rights, which will be of paramount importance and we will be using every possible platform both domestically and from overseas when developing it”, – concluded the Prime Minister of Georgia.
