Giorgi Chanturia died

Giorgi Chanturia, former head of Georgian International Oil Corporation died after long illness. Family members confirmed the information to First Channel.

Chanturia worked for different state structures. He served on diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, US, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland and Israel.

Chanturia was Georgia’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary in Azerbaijan in 1994-96. He worked in Azerbaijan during the last years of his life.
