Gigi Tsereteli: Being "Unity" coalition member does not mean joining of parties

European Georgia became a part of the “Unity” [to Save Georgia] coalition alongside Strategy Agmashenebeli, said Gigi Tsereteli, a member of European Georgia, explaining that this very move “does not imply joining of the parties.”

Tsereteli went on to say that “European Georgia aims to ensure that opposition votes are not lost during the elections.”

“Our main task was to consolidate the opposition’s votes, therefore, we negotiated with various coalitions,” he added.

The UNM-led “Unity – to Save Georgia” coalition was launched on July 8.
