“The confrontation between the United National Movement members shifted to European Georgia. When they had the opportunity to repudiate the past, the gory stains that they left as significant wounds to Georgia, they refused; no matter what they say today, it does not change the substance of the situation,” stated Gia Volski, the First Vice-Speaker of Parliament.
Volsky noted that “new centres were created and Saakashvili’s name, his nature as a politician, were distributed in different directions,” citing Lelo and Aleko Elisashvili’s union, as well as Akhlebi, Nika Melia, Girchi, and Elene Khoshtaria, “financed from the Russian budget.”
“Do not forget Salome Zourabichvili, who wants to extend her umbrella as quickly as possible and, if elected, appoint the government herself, which she would administer for one year under her smart supervision. Then special elections will be held. When the elections put everything in its proper place, the outcome will be extremely difficult for them,” Volsky said.
