Gia Volski – Target of muddying water to catch a big political fish has no perspective
The target which National Movement Party has of muddying the water to catch a big political fish has no perspective – Gia Volski, Vice Speaker of the Parliament said.
According to Volski, the policy led by Georgia is supported by Washington, Brussels and partner capital cities of European countries. He said the oppositional National Movement Party was struggling against the stability policy as well as European Georgia Party which attempted to cause conflict in two directions – west and north.
Volski made a comment in response to the statement of Gregory Karasin, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister.
“It is painful for me to realize that the radicals of Saakashvili’s school have managed to direct the 20-21 June protests against Russia. As a result, everything positive in the Georgian-Russian relations, which we have jointly created since 2012, is in danger. The new atmosphere had already been working for the benefit of our peoples and had started to bring results,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said in an interview with Kommersant.
According to Karasin, the high-ranking politicians of Georgia made rough and irresponsible statements and the radicals associated with the United National Movement led the situation to the deadlock of confrontation and hostility.
