Gia Volski: Nobody should expect Russia’s response of sentiments and confession
“Nobody should expect Russia’s response of sentiments and confession,” Gia Volski, Vice Speaker of the Parliament told First Channel when commenting on the statement of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili in answer to the statement made by Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to Volski, it is Russia’s policy and attitude that generated the current circumstance where de-facto authorities make decisions. “Russia will never cede its interests but Prime Minister proposes format, which the state needs,” Volski said.
According to the statement, posted on Russian foreign Ministry’s official website, Moscow is pleased with the desire of deepening the process of normalization of bilateral relations. “Nobody should have doubts that Russia is interested in improving relations with neighboring Georgia and is ready to go as far as Tbilisi is ready for it.
