The Georgian Football Federation (GFF) released a statement about ticket sales for the UEFA Euro 2024 Championships.
The GFF congratulated the Georgian national football team on qualifying for the Euro 2024 and on “being the only debutant country.” The Federation said it had launched negotiations with the UEFA over preparation issues.
“The European Championships is held under the UEFA aegis. Therefore, the tickets will be sold with the UEFA’s direct involvement. The final details for tickets’ sale procedures are being finalized,” it said.
On March 26, Georgia’s national football team won a ticket to the 2024 UEFA Euro this summer in Germany by beating Greece with a score of 4-2 in the penalty shootout.
Georgia will debut at the European Championship with its first match scheduled against Turkey on July 18 in Dortmund.
