Georgia’s rating upgraded in World Development Indicators

Georgia’s rating has been upgraded with respect to struggle against corruption, efficiency of government and regulation quality as per the research “World Development Indicators” of the World Bank – Tea Tsulukiani, Georgian Justice Minister said.

The research evaluates 214 world countries and 168 member states of the World Bank in 6 directions out of which Georgia showed the best results in 3 indicators.

In the 100% scale, Georgia received 76.4% with respect to struggle against corruption. The country ranked 18th place in the top-20 countries of Europe.

Georgia has shown the historically best result in the indicator of the government’s efficiency. Georgia received 74.04% and demonstrated a better ranking than 6 countries of the European Union – Hungary, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania.

Georgia received 83.17% in the indicator of regulation quality as Justice Minister reported.
