In January-July 2023 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 3 583.4 million, 15.9 percent higher year-on-year, the Georgian National Statistics Service (GeoStat) reported.
Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 48.2% and amounted to USD 1 728.2 million, 22.0% lower to the same period of 2022.
In January-July 2023 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 76.2 percent. The top partners were Russia (USD323.6 million), Türkiye (USD 236.7 million) and China (USD 217.5 million).
“In January-July 2023 copper ores and concentrates claimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 375.5 million, or 21.7% of total exports. The exports of wine of fresh grapes totaled USD 149.8 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 8.7%. The exports of ferro-alloys occupied the third place, standing at USD 111.2 million and constituting 6.4% of the total exports,” Geostat reported.
