Georgian right-handed sabre fencer wins Madrid World Cup

Sandro Bazadze, a Georgian right-handed sabre fencer won the 2023 Men’s Sabre World Cup in Madrid for the 11th time consecutively by defeating all rivals decisively.

In the semi-final, Sandro Bazadze defeated French fencer Maxime Pianfetti with the score 15:11, and Italian rival Ricardo Nuccio in the finals – 15:6.
