Georgian President welcomes UNM's decision to end parliamentary boycott
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili welcomes the United National Movement (UNM)’s recent decision to end the parliamentary boycott, her press office has said.
The democratic process requires all political parties to respect their voters’ will and use the trust and mandate given from the elections, stated by the President.
“The process [reconsiliation] initiated by the President, aiming to overcome polarization, also requires the parliament to be used for political debate, dialogue, and discussion. This way leads to our country’s development,” the statement reads.
