Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili cast her ballot at the polling station in the #67 Public School of Tbilisi.
She said she voted for a new Georgia, which the ancestors prayed for.
“I want to congratulate the entire Georgia on this day, which is a happy day. I voted not for who but for what, and that is a new Georgia, for which I arrived in this country 22 years ago and my ancestors prayed for. I voted for such Georgia, for which the entire Georgia prays. In the evening, we will all be victorious, nobody will be defeated because Georgia will win,” said the President.
The 2024 parliamentary elections are held on October 26 in Georgia.
