Georgian President to convene parliamentary extraordinary sessions from July 18

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will convene the extraordinary sessions of the parliament from July 18. The decree has been submitted to the parliament and lawmakers.

On July 13, one part of the parliamentary opposition applied to the president with the request to appoint an extraordinary session having released a joint statement saying this would be a “move toward depolarization.”
