Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili kicked off her first official visit to Austria. Representatives of the Austrian Foreign Ministry welcomed the President of Georgia at the Vienna International Airport.
According to Georgian Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Austria Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the Georgian President’s first official visit is the positive impetus for the dynamics of relations between the two countries.
Within the framework of the visit, President Zourabichvili will hold meetings with OSCE Secretary General, OSCE female Ambassadors to promote the “Woman, Peace, Stability” agenda at an international level and women’s involvement in peaceful conflict resolution, which is the main challenge for Georgia.
Austrian President will host Salome Zourabichvili at the Hofburg Palace. The two presidents will hold a face-to-face meeting and give a joint press conference for the media. Georgian and Austrian companies will partake in the Georgia-Austria business forum.
