Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili echoed the address of her Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the European Council, saying she appreciates his assessment of Europe’s future.
“We support President Zelenskyy’s address to the European Council. I appreciate the President’s assessment of the future of Europe, which indispensably includes an independent Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova,” President Zourabichvili tweeted.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the European Council special session on February 9.
“Europe is free and will be free. Europe is united, and I am sure that we must do everything to make sure that Europe is united with an independent Ukraine, with an independent Moldova, with an independent Georgia, with independent Baltic states, with Poland and with all the other states that are members of our modern Europe,” Zelenskyy said.
