Georgian President: PM must resign. Once he resigns, I must call elections within two weeks
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said, “The prime minister who has not resolved the crisis, who only knows how to threaten the people and in no way seeks political compromise, must be replaced.”
In a Thursday interview with GPB First Channel, the president noted “As soon as the prime minister resigns, I must call elections within two weeks.”
“Do we have a crisis or not? If we close our eyes to avoid seeing it, then let it go, and this neglected crisis becomes a great threat.
We can find a solution, and that solution is political: the prime minister who has not resolved the crisis, who only knows how to threaten the people and in no way seeks political compromise, must be replaced,” Salome Zourabichvili stated.
