Georgian President, NATO Sec/Gen discuss Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili hosted NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Orbeliani Presidential Palace.
President Zourabichvili spoke about Georgia’s integration process into the Euro-Atlantic structures and its progress on this path.
Georgia’s President and NATO Secretary General touched on Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, the solidarity of the international partners and community with Ukraine, the impact of Russia’s aggressive moves on the region, increased threats and the Black Sea security.
NATO Secretary General reiterated unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Speaking about Georgia’s occupied regions, President Zourabichvili highlighted the issues of Bichvinta summer houses, the Ochamchire military-naval fleet and Sokhumi airport.
She also stressed that holding Russia’s presidential elections in Georgia’s occupied regions is totally unacceptable and unlawful.
“This once again grossly undermines Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and contradicts international norms,” she said.
