Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili discussed Georgia’s EU integration process-related issues with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
At the meeting in the Orbeliani Presidential Palace, President said that the Georgian people would not be able to accept the second refusal and would feel abandoned by Europe.
President Zourabichvili stressed the significance of Germany’s support for Georgia’s European aspirations.
In her turn, Annalena Baerbock said she wanted to see Georgia and Georgian people in the EU.
“That is why I am here and that is what my government supports. Georgia needs to continue reforms to receive a candidate status,” she said.
