Georgian President, Salome Zourabichvili met Vice-President of the European Commission, Věra Jourová within the framework of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
At the meeting with the EC’s Vice-President, Salome Zourabichvili discussed Georgia’s EU integration process. She thanked Věra Jourová for granting Georgia the EU candidate and clear statements on EC’s issued recommendations.
According to the Presidential Administration, Salome Zourabichvili stressed that the status of an EU candidate country is vital for Georgia amid Russian propaganda and attempts to expand its influence. She underscored that the EC’s decision intensified European aspirations in the Georgian population.
