Georgian President: Freedom is first value that unites us with Europe
The President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili visited the “Knowledge Cafe” in Tsnori and spoke with young people and local residents who signed the “Our Voice for Europe” signature, expressing support for Georgia’s European path.
In her remarks, the President stated that Georgia would join Europe as a state and that joining Europe meant that regions and villages would first and foremost benefit from European standards.
“Together with you, we continue the “Our Voice to Europe” campaign, which seeks to deliver to the European Union not only the voice of the government or political parties but also the voice of the citizens.
I said the word – “freedom” and perhaps this is the first value that unites us with Europe. We should never give up our freedom, since nothing is more valuable than a free individual,” she added.
