Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has departed for the United Kingdom. According to the presidential administration, President Zourabichvili will attend the event organized by Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs (an independent policy institute based in London).
James Nixey, Head of the Russia and Eurasia Programme at Chatham House, will host the event. Politicians, academicians, businesspersons and youngsters will participate. Salome Zourabichvili will take the floor and answer questions.
“The President will speak about challenges facing democracy, the changing political balance of the South Caucasus, the prospects of Georgia’s European future, the relationship between Tbilisi and Moscow, the impact of the war in Ukraine on Georgia and the upcoming parliamentary elections,” the presidential administration said.
