“We should understand that we have not defeated the virus yet. It is a global pandemic,” said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia at today’s meeting at Government Administration.
As the head of the government noted, reopened economic activities, public transport, restaurants, bars, shopping malls, markets enhance the mobility of citizens in the city and increase the risk of spreading the virus.
Georgian PM urges citizens to follow the recommendations, observe social distancing rules and wear a face mask on public transport or at the social gatherings.
“We are enforced to gradually reopen economy, everyone should understand that we do not want to go back,” PM said.
